Legal and Commercial Support

Inarak Consultants are legal professionals, helping businesses with their commercial operations

We specialise in commercial transactions in the developing world, focusing on three developing markets: Oman, Indonesia, and Sub-Saharan Africa

Our work covers the whole life-cycle of a business in an overseas venture, including:

  • market research and due diligence

  • advice on law and regulation in the overseas market

  • negotiating collaboration and teaming arrangements, and joint venture contracts

  • structuring new finance

In Oman, Indonesia and Africa, we have a long-standing affiliation with leading local legal counsel, and are therefore able to provide the client with a seamless, high quality work product, in each of those regions

We have a network of informal affiliations with local legal counsel in other parts of the developing world

Our consultants have the skill-sets and depth of experience of lead counsel in any major law firm, but at a fraction of the cost, given our low overheads

We are very competitive in both our fees levels, as well as our fees arrangements with our clients. If necessary, we can agree our fees as a fixed amount, to stay well within your budget.

He can be contacted via email and phone, as below:

"I have had the pleasure of working with Edward during the period 2010/2013, when I was heading the Legal department of Petroleum Development Oman LLC in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. I have found him to be a consummate professional, with a thorough knowledge of the law and extensive experience with major contracts, tender procedures and construction claims and contract disputes. This combination of experience as a contract and construction lawyer proved to be very valuable in handling the extensive procurement activity of the company as well as several construction claims and disputes. The scope of the work was huge, ranging from advising on tender documentation to the negotiation of terms and conditions for multi-billion USD contracts and to the in-depth analysis and resolution of very significant construction claims. Edward also advised on a wide range of non-contract & procurement matters, drawing from his vast experience and expertise in different fields of the law."
